The line moved really slow but I think it’s understandable. ESP when everything was heated and wrapped on the spot. I found the owners to be super friendly and funny. I asked for garlic sauce, not on the menu. And the lady boss gave me a naughty smirk and gave it to me. Then said it was special just for me. I thought that was really cute. Later a guys order was called but the customer didn’t come to get the order promptly. The boss making the orders said “gyro and eggs! Move your legs!” I laughed really hard inside. Finally when I got my order, the male boss handed me the order with a big smile. He seemed really excited about me enjoying the food. I appreciate the enthusiasm and quirkiness a lot. Finally, the kafta is flavorful with a ton of fresh spices mixed it. My only regret is not ordering hummus with it.

I got the spicy falafel sandwich, and it was phenomenal. The sauce was terrific and just what I needed on a hot day. The owner was friendly and almost immediately felt like family. I definitely will be coming back here with the whole family again and again.

Honestly, I cannot stop raving about this place, even though I haven't been in for a bite in over five years, so this review is a little overdue(heh). I remember it was a rainy day on a random day during the week. Nobody else was in there except for me. The older gentleman behind the counter had the most cheerful smile and welcoming spirit. I ordered a chicken plate which was like a gentle and delicious warm hug for my palate, filling and fulfilling, and was given a little extra side dish of something I can't remember in a sort of "oops, we made too much-please eat this" kind of way for free. I remember conversing with the gentleman behind the counter, whom I think was the owner at the time, and thinking, "Wow, this place has a lot of heart. I will definitely keep this place at the top of my list of places I'd recommend." You can go to a lot of places and enjoy good food, not every place has "good heart AND good food" like Cedars.

The falafel sandwich is really good. Moist pita and falafel served with green sauce is authentic and tasty. The owner is very friendly and suggested some good items on the menu. Prices are reasonable and quality of food is great.

No-frill diner in the university town, serving authentic foods with reasonable price and quick turnover. The kind that you'd visit and take out over and over if you were a student.

The guy was so sweet and funny. Food was surprisingly cheap and yet delicious. The falafel was seasoned really well. Will be back!

I love these guys and I'm so happy they're still here. I have been enjoying their nicely priced sandwiches through the window to the street for many years now. They are just the nicest people and they make a fine sandwich/wrap/gyro. I particularly like the shawarma.
